Can’t believe it’s almost July 4th! Summer is never laid-back around here: the Blumms have been busy with camps and trips while keeping up with Moroccan Buzz business. We’ve added many new handbags and mirrors to the site, like the Moroccan Keyhole Arch Inlaid Mirror featured on this page, and are just about ready to post our Moroccan Tea Glasses.
For our local friends:
We recently received an assortment of beautiful handmade Moroccan rugs to add to our collection. Before we offer them online, we’d like to give you an opportunity to view and shop our new acquisitions.
So . . . we invite you to an informal rug showing/sale this Saturday, July 6. We’ll be open from 10 – 4 at 2090 Alder Street, Eugene. We have artisan-crafted kilim (flat-weave), hand-knotted (tufted), embroidered kilims, and mixed-technique style rugs, in many sizes, patterns and colors. (And, o.k. – a few mirrors. We can’t resist showing off our gorgeous new styles!)
Even if you’re not in the market for a rug, please stop for a visit and an iced tea. We’d love to share see these remarkable hand-crafted rugs with you! Each is truly a work of art, often representing weeks or months of the artisan’s work.
We’re not promoting this to the general public – just to our Moroccan Buzz email, Facebook friends, and blog followers – but feel free to share this with friends who may be interested.
Happy 4th of July!
